Harvest Home

The weekend of the Chew Stoke Harvest Home went very well with the weather staying fine and crowds of people at all the events.

During the day on Saturday Jubliee Fields thronged with people involved in a range of activites, from pet and dog shows to flower and vegetable competitions, punch and judy and a range of stalls and side shows.

During the evening the marquee was transformed into the venue for the Ceilidh with the Rapscallion Band. Over 100 people danced the night away.

School news & new web site

Chew Stoke school is coming to the end of it's academic year and saying farewell to children in year 6 as they move on in their school careers.

The fun run held a few weeks ago raised £1121.90 which will be used to improve the muddy area behind the willow structure in the playground but some is also being donated to Make Poverty History and the Babe appeal. Money has also been raised with a non-uniform day and PTA BBQ.

The school now has it's own web site with the latest news & comments by children etc (as well as policies and reports etc) at:
